The Costa del Sol Lawn Bowls Clubs
All the bowling clubs in Malaga province are located on the Costa del Sol, The Sun Coast, the sunny coastal tip of the province.
Each of the Costa del Sol clubs is within 1 hours drive from Malaga International Airport and 1.5 hours drive from Gibraltar Airport. (The city of Malaga is the capital of Malaga province.)
All the clubs are located near the N340, the main coast road, (except Lauro Golf & Pueblo Fiesta), and the following detailed directions all relate to this road.
(Travelling to some clubs using the western sections of the A7 Costa del Sol toll road sections can save you time, but should be avoided unless you are very familiar with the area.)
The clubs listed below are sequenced east to west, but for each club details are given for both directions. Travelling from most parts of Spain you will probably enter the Malaga coast via the A7 motorway, circumnavigating Malaga city.
Murcia province lies between Alicante to the north east, Albacete to the north and Almeria to the south.
Up to recently bowlers have simply passed through this area when traveling between the three principle bowling zones in Spain – Malaga, Almeria & Alicante.
This situation appears to be changing, as the province now sports two clubs of its own – Country Bowls & La Manga.
