Spanish Widow pot
Spanish Widow pot The widow pot is a meal that can be eaten throughout the year, but is usually cooked more in the winter months.
It may be accompanied by good wine and a Spanish salad.
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 250g chickpeas soaked Eve
- 250g green beans
- 1 sheet celery
- 1 parsnip
- 4 small potatoes
- 1 sweet potato
- 4 onion sausages
- olive oil
- 1 onion
- Saffron dye
- Put the soaked chickpeas (since yesterday) with green beans, celery, potatoes and sweet potatoes to a boil.
- Saute onion in oil (2 tablespoons per person) and add a teaspoon of paprika.
- Pour the sauce into the pot.
- Cook for 30 minutes over medium heat.
- Finally, add the sausages and let it all simmer for about 1 hour.
