La Sarga, located in the municipality of Alcoy, is best known for its cave paintings found in a collection of caved called Masía de la Cueva.
In 1951, cave paintings were discovered in these shelters, which are currently in a fenced area for protection.
In them you can see the figures of ancient hunters, animals, among other geometric figures.
These paintings, found in good condition, were declared a World Heritage Site in 1998.
