Landscape
The course is set in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by orange and lemon tree plantations. It´s location is fantastic as it is only 5 minutes to the beach and if you go inland the nearest town is Pinar de Campoverde, which is set within one of the largest pine forests in the area.

Pilar de la Horadada
Pilar de la Horadada is the southern most town in the Region of Valencia, you can see La Manga from the beach, this means it is also close to the warm inland sea of the Mar Menor with its flamingos and therapeutic mud.
The beach side of the town is called Torre de la Horadada (or La Torre) which has four miles of coastline stretching from the Mil Palmeras estate to El Mojon (Murcia), alternating between residential areas, parks and sports facilities.
This coastal area has clean water and superb beaches with a climate that ensures their facilities can be enjoyed all year round. It has a characteristic watchtower built in the 16th century which overlooks the coast
This coastal town, with it´s quiet little port is the perfect place to while away the hours strolling along deserted beaches to visit the tower.
The Torre de la Horadada sports marina has 506 moorings for recreational craft and has become a bit of a tourist attraction. It´s also a great little place to stop for a Tapas lunch.
In the summer the sporting activities are too numerous to mention. There are all the usual watersports available from the beaches and the marina, with beach football and volleyball pitches, even paragliding.
All year round there’s tennis, horse riding, rambling, golf, mountain biking etc.
The airport at San Javier is approximately 15 minutes from Pilar and Alicante Airport is approximately 50 minutes.
