This is an excellent venue, especially for it’s good range of tapas and wines from the various barrels.
At the end of your meal they ask you how many glasses you’ve taken, and you have to try and remember!
They open at 6.00am and close at 2.00pm. Open again at 5.00pm ’til 8.00pm.
Great food.
Just order what you want, help yourself to whatever drinks you want, wine from the barrel, beer or spirits and just tell them what you’ve had at the end when you go to pay your Bill.
A really good experience at bodega los carmelos.
No need to book out of season but a must in peak season.

This is an excellent venue, especially for it’s good range of tapas and wines from the various barrels.

The only Drawback of Bodega Los Carmelos is that they open early and close early, both at lunchtime and in the evening.
Watch out if you are going to eat here. They tend to pull the shutters down about 30 minutes before closing time – this is to stop more coming in. You have been warned!!
The other thing to keep in mind is that the Spanish owners always take a 2-4 week holiday in September, so you will find Bodega Los Carmelos
closed for those 2 weeks or 4.
If you are staying on La Marina urbanisation head on down towards the road heading towards the beach, along past the petrol station, under the N332 and on down to the traffic lights.
Turn right towards Guardamar and Bodega Los Carmelos is along that road, on your left, after about half a mile.
The food and atmosphere at Los Carmelos is really excellent – you must give it a try.
