The Castle of Nogalte, Puerto Lumbreras-Murcia, is a fortress from the Islamic medieval period built around the 11th and 12th centuries.
It is located next to the town center of Puerto Lumbreras, in a mountainous spur on the southern edge of the Sierra de la Torrecilla,.

In a strategic position from which several water outcrops and various natural pathways can be seen: to the east the Lorca road, that connects through the valley of the Guadalentín river to Murcia; to the north, through the Rambla de Nogalte, towards Granada: and to the west, towards Almeria, crossing the Almanzora valley.
It is listed as an Asset of Cultural Interest according to the Second Additional Provision of Law 16/1985 of June 25.
