Guys & Dolls golf Society have been going since 2020 and we have just held our first ever Annual Club Championship, with 2 fantastic days of competition. With 33 players each day playing for the 4 categories it was a fantastic event and very well organised by Shawn Weston, aka The Fat Bloke and Dena Coverdale.

Tee off is 10am and welcome to all. This society is very social and for players who don’t have the time or the experience to play a full course yet still very challenging for the better players.

Prices are: 10 €/month for Keep fit and 15€/ month for Pilates.

The classes are held in Spanish. But the class is easy to follow, there are many British attending the class and other nationalities too.

The visit to the Men’s Shed by Bargain Loving Brits in The Sun, on Wednesday 13th September, was a great success.
Members were filmed working on projects, repairing bicycles or had stopped by for a chat and coffee etc.
A nurse who is supporting our important initiative of offering a regular, and basic health check to members, was also present.
Several members, took the opportunity to have their blood pressure and weight monitored.
We will remind you nearer the date, of when the nurse will visit again.
When we know the date that the program will be shown on TV, we will let you know. Thank you

We are just some people who care and want to help with the over population of cats and kittens on the urbanisation.
The La Marina street cats Group was set up STRICTLY for Trap/Neuter/Release scheme and funds and donations are solely for that purpose.
We cannot pay any vet bills for sick or injured cats out of those funds.
We sadly cannot provide care or help for sick or injured cats as we don’t have anywhere for them to go. Or rehome strays. So please don’t ask us to take them, because we just can’t!

We play on the first Wednesday of each month cost is know 60 euros we meet at the Cavernita bar our home base after the game for refreshment and prizes we still play 18 holes on all the courses on the Costa Blanca in the year the web page is still the same all though most of the members 30euros membership most of the members seem to use what’s app.
We meet once a month, normally on the first Wednesday of the month. We regularly play the local courses of El Plantio, Alicante Golf, Font del Llop and Bon Alba, but also visit other courses on a less regular basis.

ARTS & CRAFT MARKET AT THE RODEO CAVES IN ROJALES!..
This popular event takes place on the first Sunday of every month from 10am to 3pm. Here you can browse around a bohemian style craft market, watch painting demos, participate in art workshops, or sit back and relax with a drink to enjoy the live music!
The Rodeo Caves, quaintly hidden away in the town of Rojales are a fascinating discovery.
They are a set of caves excavated from the mountain in the 18th century by Murcian miners who came to Rojales for agricultural work.
Creating a unique underground urban plot, the caves became the home of generations until the beginning of the 20th century.
Today the Rodeo Caves are a tourist attraction and an interesting place to visit for local residents.
They have been transformed into studios and workshops by local artists and craftsmen who open their doors to visitors, free of charge, every Monday to Friday from 9am till 3pm.
