Madrid City is indeed an elegant city. Not only by the fine stately buildings, the Royal Palace, the parcs, among El Retiro, but also the three great museums define this beautiful city.
The Centre
What also stroke us was the very relaxed atmosphere, also at night. People are very friendly and helpful. We really felt at home. The food was excellent included the tapas and wines.
The compact centre can be easily explored. Musicians are everywhere. This city is very easily to recommend.
Of course Spain suffers from the financial crisis. In this video one can also witness demonstrations and blockades.
The shown museum (and its content) is the Reina Sofia museum.
Es verdad, es una ciudad muy elegante. Hay mucho edificios imposantes y guapos, y no olvida el Palacios Real y parques preciosos. Ademas hay tres museos excellentes. La atmosfera es muy relaxed, tambien durante la noche! La gente es amable y invariable.
Comidas tapas y vinos son muy bien. El centro compacto es facil de explorar. Hay musicians en cada parte de la ciudad.
